Iglesia Casa de Adoración Nuevo Comienzo was born from faith, resilience, and an unshakable trust in God. Pastor Jose Ernesto Najera, alongside his devoted wife, Pastor Neydi Hernandez, and a group of faithful believers, faced a difficult trial when their former church fell apart due to betrayal and division. Heartbroken but determined, they refused to let the challenges shake their faith. Without a physical place to worship, they continued gathering in their homes holding prayer nights and services, never ceasing to seek God’s presence.

As time went on, they knew God was calling them to establish a new church a place where all could worship freely, without fear of judgment or rejection. With Pastor Neydi standing faithfully by his side, Pastor Jose found 1009 42nd Street, a property with great potential and a location that could serve the growing Latino community. Though the building was abandoned and in desperate need of repairs, they saw more than just a structure they saw a future house of worship where lives would be transformed.

The early days were not easy. The walls had to be torn down and rebuilt, and with no heating in the winter or air conditioning in the summer, every service was a test of faith. But through it all, Pastor Jose and Pastor Neydi stood strong, leading with love, sacrifice, and unwavering trust in God. The church began with the faithful members who had walked with them from the beginning, but soon, more and more people came—drawn to a place where they were accepted, loved, and encouraged in their faith.

In 2024, the church faced one of its greatest trials—the passing of Pastor Jose Ernesto Najera. His loss left a deep wound in the hearts of the congregation, but his legacy lives on. Through every struggle, he taught the importance of perseverance, love, and spreading the Gospel no matter the obstacles. Today, Pastor Neydi Hernandez continues to lead with the same strength and vision she and her husband shared, ensuring that their mission carries on.
